Depending on the configured test type:

  • Tests may start automatically (e.g. speed-based)
  • Tests may start when trigger conditions are met

Use the display to:

  • monitor live values
  • view results as they are calculated

For details on test setup, see:

  • Acceleration Test Configuration
  • Deceleration Test Configuration
  • Lap Timing Configuration

During operation, MFD Touch may notify you using:

  • audible alerts
  • LED indicators
  • on-screen visual changes

These alerts indicate:

  • target conditions reached (e.g. speed)
  • test events (e.g. start, finish, split)
  • parameter thresholds reached or exceeded

MFD Touch displays status information from the connected VBOX unit.

This may include:

  • Logging status
  • Media status
  • GNSS status
  • Kalman Filter status
  • CAN data status

The available indicators depend on the connected VBOX unit.

Use these status indicators to confirm the system is ready before and during a test.

If Logging Beep is enabled, the display will notify you when the connected VBOX:

  • starts logging
  • stops logging
  • pauses logging

You can manually control the logging on the connected VBOX unit from the display.

If the Media Status Indicator (SD card icon) in the display header is green, you can tap it to start or stop the logging.

Use this to override automatic logging behaviour if required.

Data is displayed in real time using configured elements.

Depending on the screen, this may include:

  • numeric values
  • gauges
  • graphs
  • bars

Visual and audible alerts and indicators (such as colour changes) may highlight when values are within or outside defined ranges.
