Setup with VBOX Manager

While we recommend that you use the VBOX Setup software to configure your VBOX 3i ADAS, you can also use a VBOX Manager.

You can see the VBOX 3i ADAS settings available on VBOX Manager in the overview below.

GPS ColdstartSelect to perform a GPS coldstart.
NTRIPEnable/Disable the NTRIP functionality of the VBOX 3i ADAS.
DGPS Rate

Set the DGPS RS232 Rate. The available baud rates are:

  • 9600
  • 19200
  • 38400
  • 115200
Elevation mask

Set elevation mask for GPS engine to ignore satellites below selected mask angle. The available angles are:

  • 5
  • 10
  • 15
  • 20
  • 25
Log Rate

Adjust VBOX logging rate. The available rate options are:

  • 100 Hz
  • 50 Hz
  • 20 Hz
  • 10 Hz
  • 5 Hz
  • 1 Hz
Log Mode

Select VBOX log mode. Options available are:

  • When moving 
  • Continuously
BackReturn to Setup menu.


Dual Antenna modeSet the VBOX 3i ADAS to be in dual antenna mode.
Antenna OrientationSet the antenna orientation mode. Choose between Pitch mode and Roll mode.
Antenna Alignment

Within this sub menu you can auto-align the antennas to make sure that the heading is aligned to the vehicle body. The automatic calculation must be carried out while moving in a straight line and at a constant steady speed.

You can also clear the alignment offset in this menu.

IMU IntegrationEnable/disable IMU integration mode.
Roof Mount

Enable/disable IMU roof mount integration.

Note: This is presented when IMU integration is enabled.

Ant to IMU Offset

Set offsets for distances between the IMU and the primary antenna.

Note: Not available when roof mount is enabled.

IMU to Ref. Offset

Set offsets for distances between the nominated reference point and IMU.

This will translate the data from the IMU location to another point on the vehicle where all measurements will be made.

Note: This is presented when IMU integration is enabled.

Wheel Speed Input

Enable/disable wheel speed input.

Note: This is presented when IMU integration is enabled.

Ant to Wheel Offset

Set offsets for distances between the wheel speed reference point and the primary antenna.

Note: Available when Wheel Speed Input is enabled.

Robot Blend

Enable/disable Robot Blend mode. Robot Blend mode will stop the unit from making large positional jumps by stopping the Kalman Filter from correcting itself by more than 1 mm per sample when the GPS is trustworthy.

Note: This is presented when IMU integration is enabled.

Pitch/Roll Offset

Offsets the Pitch_imu and Roll_imu channels to zero. To be used when the IMU is not mounted on a flat surface. 

Note: This is presented when IMU integration is enabled.

Gyro OffsetReset/calibrate IMU internal gyro offsets.

ScreenFlips the screen by 180° to allow left-hand opertion.
