Symptoms

  • Predictive lap timing remains fixed on screen.
  • Predictive values display incorrect numbers, for example -99.
  • Lap time updates normally, but predictive timing does not.

Possible Causes

  • Corrupted reference lap data.
  • GPS position spikes during reference lap recording.

GPS spikes can occur when the vehicle is:

  • Parked inside or near garages.
  • Close to pit buildings or large metal structures.

Reflected satellite signals can create large position errors which corrupt the reference lap.

Resolution

Reset Lap Timing Data
  1. Open the predictive timing screen.
  2. Press and hold the centre square button for more than 4 seconds.
  3. Wait for the confirmation message: "LAP DATA RESET".

This removes the corrupted reference lap.

Record a New Reference Lap
  • Drive a complete lap to create a new reference lap.

Predictive lap timing should now operate normally.

Prevention

To reduce the risk of corrupted reference laps:

  • Avoid recording reference laps near garages or large buildings.
  • Ensure the vehicle has a clear view of the sky where possible.
