02 - How to Mount Steering Wheel Sensor

Step 1

Turn the steering wheel to the original position.

Step 2

Measure the inner diameter of the steering wheel rim loosen the clamp screws on the lower side of the supporting plate slightly and adjust them as required.

Step 3

Loosen the screws on the side so that the three clamp clasp can be attached to the steering wheel rim of your car.

Step 4

There are three pairs of holes for mounting the clamps In any case, all three clamps have to be mounted in the same pairs of holes, otherwise errors may occur due to tumbling of the supporting plate

Step 5

To prevent the sensor from falling, gently tighten the screws on the side.

Step 6

Install the single-point suction holder on the front windshield

Step 7

Screw the guide rod of  the single-point suction holder into the threaded hole of sensor.

Step 8

Tighten the Cardan joint.

Step 9

Turn the steering wheel 360º and observe if there is any movement between the guide rod and the linear bearing. If yes, adjust the three screws on the side to center the sensor.
